Gardens are all planted, vineyard is in full bud, all the fruit and nut trees are in leaves except the black walnuts, they're always late tho. Lots of rain so far, more tonight. Peppers are a buck each at the market so I planted 40 bells and two Anaheims. Only Roma tomatos this year, seem to be better to cook with. just one pack of yellow squash, still ends up being about 20 plants. Found some Arabic cucumber seed, the long skinny curly ones, about 20 of those too. Going super compact this year, one 24 foot circle of veggies and an 8 by 12 herb garden. Lots of birds everywhere so hopefully they'll eat all the bugs and keep me organic. Trouble is they eat all my cherries too, but as long as I get a few.

Great running weather now, 80+ today, I love to be able to get a real sweat goin', good for body and soul. When I come back, the cats look at me with that "you're an idiot" look as they lay in the driveway flopping their tails but not bothering to get up.

Life is great, should be a good Summer.
