Too hot to run, but I do it anyway. The sweat burns my eyes, but I think it cleans out everything so well. Besides eating whole foods, it's probably the best thing you can do to live better and longer.

Hope this Winter is not the other extreme, I love the heat but hate the cold. I grew up in the snow belt and don't need to see it ever again, gimme pink coral sand beaches any day.

My gardens and grapes are still alive, but just barely hangin' on. Everything was doing great until the rain stopped here. We get clouds, thunder, and lightning every week, but nothing ever comes of it, allot like politicians, all talk and no walk.

Speaking of politicians, everybody needs to vote this year and clean things out. No matter how good you think your reps are, boot'em out they are not listening and need to understand. It is really important to vote this Fall, not just for us, these idiots are screwing up the whole World. The only thing they understand is to be kicked very swiftly to the curb hard enough that they don't get up.

Hope everybody has a great weekend, be good to yourself, go out and run a couple miles. And drink some good wine just to reward yourself.

That's really bad! I've not heard of that here but I can't say it doesn't happen, I wouldn't be suprised.

Ugh, I've resorted to . . . running on the treadmill. But I'm following an "increase your speed" program, and that adds some interest/motivation to it all. It's actually pretty rewarding to check off each square as I accomplish it. And it's not a particularly difficult program. I'd never done one before, but I have to say I like it.
