First run in the rain this year, feels good not to burn up, but i think I like the sweat better, cleans everything out.
Planted the rest of the garden today, 4 rows of okra. Madam is Acadien and loves the stuff, I have no opinion one way or another being a rehabilitated Yankee. Hope to remain organic this year, but the bugs will dictate that more than me.
French grapes are growin' like Dijon this year, I hilled them all up with fresh dirt and they appear to be endlessly grateful. Some have grown over 2 feet already. Should have some good Chardanay this year. Need to learn a lot more about wine making before next year, hoping maybe the Biltmore vintner in Asheville will help me out a little. With the rain/sun mix so far this is gonna be a great fruit/nut/veggie year.
BP quit oilin' my oysters or I'll never darken your pumps again.
