Felt great to get out in the warm sun and run a few miles. Even the cats found a warm spot in the driveway to exploit for a nap. Cats drive me crazy, they only eat and sleep, but they're solid muscle, complete athletes without effort. The black Burmese matriarch felt a need to eat wild meat, so she casually wanders to the back yard and jumps straight up 8 feet and grabs a bird out of the sky. Mocking birds tend to be high risk flyers and commonly try to peck cats on the head. Sometimes they lose.

All the French grapes are budding and should be attracting bees soon. Got them pruned just in time, Summer's finally commin'.

Found a good spot for my herb garden, 8 meter circle close to the kitchen. It should be a good location for the cat's mouse farm too, they've been seriously disappointed since I removed all of the brushy spots near the house, they will hunt if it doesn't involve too much effort. I just wish they wouldn't bring the live trophies home to turn loose in the house, snakes, mice, birds, rabbits, ect.
