Running in the winter takes too much stuff. Summer is easy, a pair of sweat shorts and off we go. Winter is long sweats, gloves, talking yourself out into the cold. Here we have mostly cold winter rains, seldom any snow. I think its worse, at least there is no icy mustache to thaw out. Gotta run tho, never regret it afterwards, just the 1st step into the cold is hard to do. I'm ready for Summer and a new running path. If I ever do get a day off I'll start looking and measuring distances. The local college [Tusculum] looks promising, it's in my backyard and they have a new footpath around campus. Tomorrow is Monday, always a bad thing. I'm ready for a solid week of sandy beaches and semi naked girls[completely naked would be better, but one must be realistic on the East Coast]. The days are getting longer again, progress is good.
