ah school again and waking up at 830...grr...i am definitely not good at this whole being up before noon thing...couldnt school be scheduled around our schedules instead of the other way around?...

long weekend...fun weekend...lots of good music and good people and beer...(as always)...im really amazed by this town...i havent been to a bad show yet...theres always one redeeming band or interesting person to talk to that makes it fun to be out...

yesterday i ended up having dinner at the great impasta...it was lovely...lauren and i shared a bottle of chianti and some tiramisu after some wonderful pasta dishes...

i really miss having that gig as restaurant reviewer...now i actually have to pay to go out to eat...dammit...

anyway...after dinner lauren and i went to mnms where we met up with this guy hoss who works over at the brass rail...hes a super nice guy and he was there with his fiance...lauren and i talked to them for a while and they loved lauren...which is really cool...i love it when my friends get along...

its a strange thing hanging out with lauren...i dont know whether im pursuing her or not...she wore this really low cut blouse and tight pants out to dinner...which could mean nothing but i dont know...shes really attractive and super driven...shes got an amazing array of pots on her stove...and shes a scientist...im a writer...but we get along really well...no lulls in conversation...i dont know...

well im going to take it easy tonight...ill meet up with lynn later...only got one class tomorrow (intro to ethics) and work is cancelled for the week so ill have basically a free day tomorrow...time to spend at paradiso drinking coffee and having strange conversations...
