I just got the crowning peice to my Holloween costume.. I'll post pics as soon as I find the time. I'm going as a Zombie Hunter, and my crowning piece fittingly enough goes on my head. It's a hat, black like most government jobs. Big white letters on the front that say 'CDC' (stands for Center for Disease Control) instead of the standard FBI, CIA, DEA and whatnot. On the back it says 'UNDEAD RECLAIMATION UNIT'. It's gonna turn out pretty cool.
(UPDATE I'VE ADDED PHOTOS!)
Wow I think thats the most 'gushing' I've ever done here... enough of that before someone begins to think I'm a semi-normal person.
... I wish deep, grand, exocentric, generalizations about life came easily. I'd probably update more often, however, I guess I have this insatiable need to feel as if I am being extremely insightful. Too bad things like that don't come easily, I wonder if that makes them more valuable when they do come to you. To be honest it's not something I really ever think about.
Usually I'll wake up in the morning, and something will hit me. Maybe it was in a dream, maybe it was from the night before. However, I'll spend all day thinking about it, putting the feelings into words. By the time I get to the computer it's planned out almost entirely in my mind how I will put it down. Nine out of ten times it never materializes, only something that has the ability to stick with me throughout the day actually makes it here. Sometimes it takes even longer than that, if it's something that holds a personal meaning for me I might take a week or so of careful deliberation before I begin to put it into words that can be written out.
Then again sometimes it's entirely spontaneous, I'll sit down with no intent to write something and it will just begin to pour out of me. My fingers flying over the keyboard as the thoughts slide from my mind onto the page. I can close my eyes and see them materializing on the screen even without looking at them. It's no longer conscious thought as I type it's pure raw emotion flowing onto the page. It's amazing to be able to take something as raw as emotion and immediately transfer it into something that someone can read. It's not just that either, because you can tell when you read something that someone else has written. The words might be simple, the ideas might be incomplete but you can feel the passion. I think that if man could make love to a machine, this is how he would do it.
And if that thought isn't creepy enough to end a post with, I don't know what is...
