After having spent the past month waiting for my EI application to be approved (and spending the majority of that time bitching about the fact that the whole process was going so slowly a turtle could outrun it), it finally (finally...finally) got approved today, and I've begun to collect it. It's not much, but with a little careful planning (and a lot of luck), it should be good enough to keep me afloat for a while.

In other news, I'm attending a couple of workshops this week that will, hopefully, help get me a new job. They also said they might look into wage subsidy, which would be helpful, too.

And also...DARK KNIGHT RISES ON DVD TODAY! (I know what I'll be doing tonight! )
