After last week's stall, I've decided to continue my weekly comic review blog.

Avengers Academy: Second Semester TPB: I don't know what it is about the teenage superhero comic series that makes me like them more than the regular superhero comics. I've been enjoying Avengers Academy, especially the stories in arc, which has my favourite story: the crossover with the Runaways. (Another teenage superhero comic series that I love; BTW, when is that getting relaunched?)
Doctor Who Magazine #453: Featuring Karen Gillan's last interview (or so says the cover), along with an obituary of Mary Tamm (the first Romana). I saw complaints on the DWM Facebook page that they should have ran that as the cover story instead of Gillan. I have no strong feelings about that; after all, they didnt do a big thing when Caroline John passed earlier this year.
Sailor Moon Volume 8: Yeah, I know. Some people might scoff at Sailor Moon being a "girls" anime. And it is. But I still enjoy it. So what? Was so glad when I heard Kodansha was reprinting the manga (along with Sailor V). Ten down, four to go.
Star Wars Insider: 2013 Special Edition: Nothing much here. Just a collection of old articles from previous issues, most of which I already own. So why did I get it? I'm a completist.
Transformers: Regeneration One #85: Was SO not looking forward to this issue. Between Furman's inability to cloak foreshadowing as anything other than obvious, I expected this issue to turn out a certain way LONG before we ever reached it, and was convinced that the only way I could truly be surprised was if they DIDN'T do that. Well...not to spoil it, but...well...he didn't do it. Trust me. If you're a TF fan, pick this thing up. It'll shock you.
