NOTE TO SELF: Can't wait any longer for my film career to start, for a screenplay to sell, for my brother's film career in LA to gain speed and ride on his coattails. Must get to work right away and best way to resist inertia: invest my own, limited finances in a novel way. Hire acting students (and local Sucide girls--I could be the next [easily better] Richard Kern) to film scenes for minimum wage. Film a scene a week (digital video), develop scenes as I get to know the actors ("What's yer take on Cassavettes?"), edit on bootleg copy of Final Cut Pro (just kidding--ahem!). Best of all--participants are best promoters of resulting work. But first, finish new issue of my zine. Sigh...
