2 feet of snow fell yesterday in Brooklyn! The parked cars outside my window are covered in snow! And yet my railroad apt. in Williamsburg is warm (too warm, actually) and I only went out today to get beer and food (let's call them provisions to sound like we're roughin' it!). What did I do on this day off. Pathetic... organized my absurdly large collection of magazines. And watched "Rules of Attraction." Don't think I would ever read the novel, but the film version was watchable, some sequences were actually very ingenious and the acting was generally very good and the soundtrack cues were spot-on but I guess I can't really recommend it. Funny, I had never really seen Shannon Sossamyn in anything before and now I'm almost sure she is the woman with the striking eyebrows I have seen a few times lately in the grocery store in Union Square that I usually go to. Could be (taking classes at nearby Strasberg Institute?). She's sort of like the post-shoplifting Winona. And what do I have in common with Winona R? Yes, but I haven't done it in quite awhile. Needless, to say, if I had ever been caught I wouldn't have gotten off with just slap on the wrist! (My attorney advises me to remind you that this is related for novelistic purposes only!) Beck was on Letterman tonight... Supergrass on Kilborn...
