when life is hard

Thanks to everyone who participated in the previous post. I liked this format 😊 The question asked by @IWASAGAIN received the most reactions: "when life is hard, what is it that stops you from giving up?"
I will tell my story and hope that my words will be able to help those who need support now. Knowing that you are not the only one facing difficulties and that someone manages to overcome them motivates you to continue fighting. 💪
_⚠️_Attention long text _⚠️_

Emotional crises and burnouts are normal for me because I'm a content creator, and I experience them several times a year, especially when the seasons change. For example, when warm weather turns cold, and vice versa ❄️🔥. I often feel like I'm not trying hard enough, while others seem to achieve things effortlessly because they are more beautiful, smarter, more talented, younger. I question if I've chosen the right path, even though I've been in this industry for six years and genuinely enjoy it. But every year, more new models emerge, and I feel like I'm losing ground.😵💫
This phenomenon is uncontrollable. You can just keep working and not realize you're doing more than necessary. I'm prone to taking responsibility and doing other people's work because I fear they might let me down. It's easier for me to do it myself. This mindset developed during my teenage years when I realized no one could do things better than I could. And if I made a mistake, it would be less painful.
Because of this, I often don't notice when I'm overworking, neglecting sleep, eating poorly, or not moving enough. Everyday issues, helping family members, and a drop in social media activity can add to this, leading to emotional exhaustion, which I continue to ignore for days, weeks. I end up working and living on autopilot. 🤯
How do I realize I'm burnt out? When I don't want to look at myself in the mirror because my appearance doesn't inspire me. When I get tired of seeing people and just want to get home to lie in bed. Conversations with friends drain me. I get tired of social media, the amount of information, even of memes and my libido drops.
What helps me deal with burnout?
- I periodically call my therapist when I realize I need an outside perspective. But a therapist is only temporary support. 📞🥲
- I listen to my inner voice. If it tells me, "go to sleep," I do just that, making sure to leave my phone in another room. 🔕

- My most important method is music 🎶 I play the drums and sing, which always helps me maintain my vitality. Without these activities, life would be colorless. I have gone to my sessions with a smile, with tears, with aggression, and each time I left feeling balanced, thinking, "You're doing okay, you're doing enough, you're not perfect, you're not a robot, you're NORMAL and ALIVE!" ❤️🔥

Having a hobby is crucial, and it's important not to mix it with work or try to monetize it. I show my entire self on the internet, but I don't share much about my hobbies. Why? I don't want advice or judgment from others. So I know you expect more videos of me playing drums and singing, but for now, I keep that to myself. 💕

- I indulge my inner child. I buy myself things I've wanted since childhood. One of my latest purchases is a Harry Potter magic caster wand 🪄 I wear a t-shirt with my favorite fandom, listen to soundtracks from my favorite movies and series, and rewatch them. I eat fruits and berries. I play video games. I take baths with various bubbles, bath bombs, and oils. 🥰

That was my story. Thanks to everyone who read to the end ❤️

This is amazing.  I thank you for sharing it and I'm sorry that I am only now seeing it.  You are open and honest and you have a good grasp on how to deal with your depressed episodes.  I'm proud of you, my friend.
