Alright... so it's been... almost a year since I last posted. I've been around, checking out the HST and DOSH groups and my favorite piece of low brow pleasure Celeb Warship. I have missed everyone.
So updates, kids.
First and foremost, I'm getting married. To former SG member Hwallbanger (Yes we met on the site about 2 years ago). Aww SG love.
Tim and I on our way to the Redneck Olympics.
I realize I look trashy with my pjs and cigarette but look at the BLING!!!
I'm supposed to be planning a wedding for October but so far have only gotten as far as booking the venue, Johnny Cash Experience and picking out the food menu and microbrews. That's all I need right?
I have grown a slight addiction to modeling - I made a free gallery page - Lil' Gallery Page. I am still building my portfolio but have shoots planned throughout spring all over the tristate area. For those on Model Mayhem, friend me here, for those on Myspace friend me too.
Tim and I have started a wedding photography and invitation website, I have some of my design work on there too - check it out PhilosAffinis. Philos Affinis means Philadelphia Wedding in Latin. And I still work for the radio station 93.3 WMMR with Preston and Steve, my year anniversary came!
Tim has also been working on video editing projects. Our most recent gem is 'Sponser a Zombie'. His other work is at Highball Society. Zombie goodness below, I contributed all of that gory zombie make up.
As an attempt to learn web, I'm taking Flash Basics for the 3rd time this semester for Continuing Education at University of the Arts. Hopefully I will get it this time, I'm ahead of the class so far by default
. Javascript and CSS are especially challenging since it uses the other side of my brain and still reads like Chinese to me. It reminds me of my DOS classes back in '96.
Also I've been playing drunken D&D every other week with my group of nerdy friends. We just started a new campaign and my D-20 pimp hand is growing strong.
Last but not least, I've become addicted to boxed wine and have upgraded from a 5-liter of Franzia to a 'Premium' box of 3-liter Hardys Merlot. I killed the mini-box in about a week and a half (equivalent to 4 bottles), as I can't sleep without a glass or two. For those who love the party in box as well, please leave a shout out and let me know I'm not alone in my obsession with cheap grape bliss.
I think that is it... I'm watching the Proposition. If you're on Netflix friend me. No Country for Old Men comes out tomorrow and I am anxious to see it again. And those who have seen There will be blood, let me know what you thought of it because it still upsets me to think about the ending. Damn you PT Anderson.

Regardless...
If you can read this, that means I would really appreciate it if you were to check out my band, The Wrecktals! We just recorded a demo, and a couple tracks are up on MySpace, and then a track-or-two-that's-not-on-MySpace is on FaceBook.
CLICK THIS BIG PINK SET OF WORDS TO VISIT OUT MYSPACE!!!
We really wanna make friends with you! Seriously! That's one thing that a lot of bands hate... There's this nice fat fucking gap between fan and artist. Fuck that gap. Gaps need to be fucked. Fuck it! The Gap that is! So go there! And tell us what you think!
And if you are super-friendly and rad and awesome! You caaaan...
CLICK THIS OTHER SET OF BIG PINK WORDS TO VISIT OUR FACEBOOK PAGE!!!
And again, please tell us what you think! And if you know anybody who likes their punk and ska and hardcore... Please pass the good word on!
Look! We're like Rancid! Can we have some street cred now?
Wigglywigglywiggly!
This band is my baby. We are going to be successful (in terms of creating that feeling in someone's chest when they hear that song they love, not "successful" as in "money"). It's our dream and it's gonna happen through our own hard work and passion and love for radness!
But like I said, we have a demo out. You pay $4 and you get eight (wicked-quality) tracks that last almost half-an-hour, some sweet DIY eye-candy, and instant immortality/karma! That's right! Everyone who buys our demo will have their name immortalized somewhere on the next release! So make sure we know who you are! We want to thank each and every one of you who actually listened to us!
We're playing lots of rad underground shows and we support all of those who make music for the sake of creation and expression. I've been to every fucking band I can imagine within 50 miles of me, so the favour better be returned!
My name is Christoph, but most people call me Slut (short for PunkerSlut)... And you can call me Susan, if it makes you happy... But on behalf of The Wrecktals, thank you for your time! I hope you like us!
'Cause if you read all this, it means we already like you!
Live. Love. Unity.
xoxo.
