First off, I think its awesome that members can take part of the homework now. I think it'll bring the members closer and make more connections than we already have. Which leads into the very topic of this homework. One of my experiences here is extremely small but it meant a lot.
I attempted (and admittedly failed lol) to try and start a local band post on the music group. I did that because I enjoy local music and appreciate local talent and also because I'm a part of it. In the few that posted in that thread, I can honestly say I enjoyed the posters' content. It was unique.
One interaction I had in that thread was short but it meant quite a bit. A person posted a black metal song. Now, I'm not TOO into black metal but I definitely got into some of the riffs and jammed out to it for a while. I replied to that person essentially saying I'm not always into that genre but I'll be damned if I don't admit that I dug that. That person replied to my bands post saying pretty much the same thing.
Thats what I love about this site. We may be different and like different things, but we support each other if we both like a certain subject. We both like music? Awesome! Even if it is different genres. We find a common ground and geek out over it.
So thanks again to @rambo and @bloghomework for opening this to all members. I look forward to sharing these with everyone and reading everyones!
