This last Friday I went and saw Les Claypool perform at the Sac Radisson with the Yard Dogs Road Show and it was AMAZING!!!!!
First off, Les plays the instrument like it is another appendage, it looks like he was formed with a bass in his hands. I think I seriously orgasmed to his music. The deep notes of his set hit my very soul. He played for almost two hours straight, that guy is a savage. Plus the masks he and the band wore made it look like they were staring right at you...

And I also have to give it up to the Yard Dogs Road Show, they seriously know how to entertain. It was like a circus act combined with actually good music. Almost 50's era style. They had beautiful burlesque dancers and magic tricks. Plus I loved the way they used trumpets and trombones (I'm a sucker for ska). Check them out...

And of course I had to add a scene from the mash...

Basically, if you get a chance to see this show DON't MISS IT. And I'm now officially in love with Les Claypool. Did I mention the music orgasm???

I have seen Primus 4 times, and Les's solo show once. He is amazing. We just had Primus confirmed for Soundwave Festival 2011, so I will be following them along the east coast of Australia next year ![biggrin](https://dz3ixmv6nok8z.cloudfront.net/static/img/emoticons/biggrin.b730b6165809.gif)
