Went to the Doctor yesterday. My chest has been hurting and my heart has been acting funny. Besides prescribing me with anxiety meds, she explained to me that I have a heart murmer and will be attending a lovely echo gram in two weeks. Um, so, anxiety, really? I'm a psych major with an emphasis on behavioral neuroscience and if I remember correctly, anti-anxiety meds (such as benzodiazapines) largely increase the amount of serotonin in my brain.................."psh, I got marijuana for that" I tell my doctor. I am slightly neurotic, have been since the age of 3 and have learned to live my anxiety. Anyway, back to the weed declaration....so you know when someone is judging you just by the slightest frown in their brow and at the corners of their mouth and it just looks funny because you know they're trying to hide it??...... Yeah, thats how she looked at me.
She didn't not support my illegal self-medicating practices, in fact she told me she planned on researching the effects it may play on my heart, and all in all, I was quite impressed with her comeback from a preemptive judgment upon me.
Other new shiat:
Retail still blows.
2 year anniversary yesterday
the dogs have discovered their love for stairs
Done with finals (with a 95% in stats) woot!
And ready to have a Fucktastically great summer!

personaljesus:
The god thing is that most heart mummers are benign and cause no effects in your life. I have one. What did she prescribe for the anxiety, klonopin? Good luck!
aldor:
I'm on clorazepam. Its a really low dose, so I really don't feel it much besides the fact that my heart has stopped spontaneously beating like crazy which is nice. Other than that, I knew the heart murmer thing was nothing to worry about. thank you for the luck!
