How is it that in a world full of individuals who strive to gain happiness and meaning, there is so much disconnection to those surrounding us? Your daily store cashier, barista, gas pumper, whatever. Why is it that we are so rushed in the days time that we can't take a moment to smile at or actually look these seemingly insignificant people in the eye?
As we've all heard a million times before; Life is too short, and we aren't here just to gain money or a status. We are here to share as many emotions, experiences, memories and connections to those who are just like us: Human.
So next time you almost unconsciously ask a stranger "How are you" in order to reciprocate what they've asked you, really really mean it. Maybe they'll take notice and pass on the vibe.
Love you all
