i've been seriously art-ing lately. i dunno. i got into this groove i guess and now that the semester is over i dont have to do any of that stupid shit that i've had to do all semester. i FINALLY declared a major (i've been in school off and on for the past FOUR years... haha). i'm in studio art, to get a BFA. there's no going back now. i'm submitting my portfolio for review this fall so i can be technically accepted into the degree program, which is exciting. i'm already taking classes towards my degree though, because i am a teacher's pet who gets whatever she wants... what can i say. right now i'm 3/4 of the way finished with a painting i started yesterday. i drew a nude model last week, this 65 year old woman named mary who always looks pissed off. i turned the drawing into a study for a painting, and now i've got a monochromatic red naked pissed off lady sitting on my dresser. i have to finish the chair she's sitting on and the fabric on the chair, do the background, and do some more highlights and crap and i'll be done. a few more hours. i'm kind of excited about it. i might try to do a series of them. and then maybe i'll sell them. if possible. nick said he didnt think anyone would want to buy a painting of a naked old lady. who knows. i think it's kind of nice.

i ate a lot tonight. holy cow. haha. i made vegan lasagna. it was good. then a few minutes ago i ate a wrap with avacado and some wheat thins. barf.

i'm seeing pinback monday. i am... so goddamn excited. holy cow. good company, and one of my favorite bands. couldnt ask for more.

sox/yanks got rained out today. that blew. yesterday's game was awesome... i fucking love the sox. i want papelbon to be my new boyfriend. he's fantastic.
