I bought a $.79 sushi mat in China Town the other night and decided to finally break it in. Some friends from work came over last night and we made some bomb ass delicious sushi! I'm telling you that basil, garlic, avacado, cream cheese and a sprinkle of coarsely ground cashews wrapped in rice and seaweed is the best roll ever!! YUM! We made a variety of rolls utilizing green onion, red bell peppers, cucumber, avacado, garlic, sauted portabello mushroom, carrots, baked tofu, fake crab meat, and smoked salmon. I forgot how fun it is to make sushi with your friends!
But I think i may have drank too much cheap ShoChikuBai sake and Kirin beer cause now my head hurts
