Oh man. Oh man. Oh man smile

I have a kinda-sorta interview tomorrow. Perhaps a new job could be on the horizon??

God, I hope so. You get really, really depressed when you look at your hard earned college degree and then realize you only make 17,000 a year. And that's without taxes.

Keep your fingers crossed!!!!! wink

Ugh ugh ugh. I'm slipping up in my exercise routine. I think I'm getting burnt out...but dang, it's so hard when you don't see hardly any results frown

I just keep telling myself it's best for the long run.....

I've been eating a more vegetarian diet...I only eat meat when I absolutely have to...it's been easier than I thought.

So, I guess I'm going to go...

It's weird isn't it?! Hiccups are so odd anyway, so when they come from your belly it's like WHAT?!
By the way, if you want a weight loss buddy I would love to do it with you as I am going to be trying to lose baby weight from like September time I think smile x

Me and the hubbs are moving this weekend into our new place. This has seriously got to be the easiest move ever. All we have to do, is go down some stairs and through a garage into our kitchen. I'm pumped. Normally, I hate everything and anything to do with moving, but not this time!

So, yeah, If I'm gone for a few days thats...

you are so lucky, you are one of only a hand full of people who get to move like that and who is also excited about their new place.
alchemy13:
yeah, normally I haaaaate moving. I got so sick tired of moving in and out of the dorm, and then I switched my off campus apartment twice in one year...and then I moved in with my husband. But I dont really mind it this time and it's gone by fairly well.

So, I'm trying to pry myself away from meat. So far, I've been meatless for two days and it's not near as bad as I thought. But.....when you married the biggest red meat consumer under the sun...yeeeeeeeah. Interesting, to say the least.

Tonight I made japanese style fried rice with tofu and it's pretty good! It was my first time ever playing with tofu...and the...

I stopped eating red meat for 2 years, now I eat it from time to time, but I never gave up chicken or turkey.

Good luck on being a vegetarian, the first week or two is easy, then it gets pretty hard for a while, but if you truly want to do it then Im sure you can.

crissi:
Ahhh, I see.

And thanks! You should give it a go! Your hair is long and lovely, it'll look so nice.

Too bad you arn't on the west side, I've been looking for a dread buddy, I would help out, and only in exchange for a nice bottle of wine, mmm

I just made blueberry almond cookies from scratch and they are pretty delish if I may say so myself.

About to go touch up my roots and not look haggard and hope that the hair dye doesnt get all over our bathroom again.

so, in honor of this swine flu/h1n1 garbage, I've been playing Pandemic online for the past two days.

The first "confirmed" case of the piggy sickness was a woman from the county I live in. Score!!

Seriously, I've neve seen so many hypacondriacs shitting themselves over something. Wash your hands, drink some Gatorade, and can it!

I'm surprisd more people around here haven't conjured up...

I looooove lazy Sundays.

Slept in, got up, went to gym, came home, ate Special K, about to make my weekly grocery run. Trying to decide what to make for dinner tonight - either grilled halibut fillets or chicken stir fry. I love Sundays cause it's the only real day I get to cook and make a fab dinner.

Then after that, clean my apartment...

No go on the BlackBerry.

Thing was too damned expensive! So, not only do you have to pay for your normal service every month, they tack on a 39.99 data service per month.

Man, screw that. I like paying 45 bucks a month for a basic Motorola. Which is what I got today. Except it's purple! smile

I dunno if there is some kinda glitch up...

I hit a plateau with my weight for a little bit so I changed up what I was eating and that seemed to do the trick.

PS, not having to pay a heating bill for 2 months...I think I'd be in Heaven.
Cold weather and my body are not the best of friends so I keep the heat cranked up all winter long.
nikonphoto80:
well I hope you like your new phone.

Sounds good to me, I know I sure wouldnt say anything, energy bills are crazy.

Sooooo....I got bitten.

By the "I want a phone that's more than just a phone" bug.

I've always been oneof those kids that always rolled my eyes at the latest over-rated and over-priced piece of technology. I just want a phone that can dial numbers and recieve calls, dammit!

Well, my contract is up on my phone, and my provider is having this sale right...

Congrats on the new place, I have never really cared what phone I had as long as it was a Nokia, but lately as my employer pays for the contract and every other manager gets the latest and greatest, I thought what the hell let me get a decent phone with all the bells and whistles. It is part of my contract. So I know the feeling.
nikonphoto80:
the BlackBerry Pearl is a really nice phone, they make texting a lot easier, I have the Pantech Duo, its also a pretty nice phone.

The Nikon D40 is a great little camera, I think you will be really happy with it.

That sounds like a really nice place, I hope you love living there and I hope they clean it really good before you move in.

Go you, Im sure you will feel great when you have been at it for a while, I know I do.

A mega thunderstorm came through earlier while me and hubbs were at work....and I left the windows open. FML

Something pretty cool....husband has officially been "smober" since December, and they just now took it off our insurance. Boo for taking so long, but yay for an extra 50 dollars a month.

I really want a nice camera for my birthday. Any suggestions? Something that's not...

Can't breathe. Can't really hear too well. Can't taste anything at all.

Tonight is going to be sooooo fun. (sarcasm)

I'm off to Nashville for the night with my hubby and my brother and sister in law. We're headed to this shindig cocktail party thing in honor of my other brother in law and soon to be sister in law.

So, I get to meet...
