Just got back a litle while ago from a somewhat early Halloween party. It had a nautical theme, which I twisted somewhat. I got a pirate hat and an eyepatch, then grabbed an old box of 5 1/4" floppy disks with old Apple software on them... yes, that's right, I was a software pirate. ("I say, can I offer you a copy of the Barrrrrd's Tale?"

Tried a little Black Bush (a high end version of Bushmills whiskey, lest anyone think I was getting crude here
), and it was actually pretty good. I think I even like it more than Tullamore Dew. A shame it's probably a lot more expensive, though. That ended up being as much as I drank, though, in which I'm a big disappointed.
Mostly, though, I got to meet cool new people, and see friends whom I have been away from for far too long. I shall have to do something about that.
In two weeks, it's a trip up to Cinci to see the on-and-off-maybe-maybe-not-ex-at-this-particular-moment. (Yes, my relationships get complicated.)
