I ended up being awake until around 7 am this morning. I just couldn't sleep. The kids got up at 9 and i was so dead tired i ended up accidently passing out on the couch by about 10am. That was a HUGE mistake... I woke up to Alexis screaming "down" at 11:30, I thought she had locked herself in her room downstairs or something. I searched all our rooms down there and couldn't find her and she had stopped screaming.. now i was freaking out! I came back upstairs and found her sitting on my computer desk... COMPLETELY covered in White-Out!!!! It had all dried and when she tried to move, it was pinching her skin. I stuck her in the bath and called my ex's aunt to come watch Xhaiden. (only person i knew would be home). She soaked in the bath for over an hour and it was barely coming off. I had to scrape it off her skin with my nails. Luckily she didn't seem to mind that. That was the worst feeling i've had in a long time! I feel like such a horrible mother! It was then 1:15pm and i realised the kids and i had a doctors appointment to get a new doctor at 2 and i hadn't showered or fed Xhaiden yet. I'm so glad I got Aunt Tracey to help, she got both kids dressed and ready while i quickly showered. We made it just in time for the appointment.
The doctor accepted us!! I am so excited. I had never heard of doctors doing interviews and selecting their patients depending on their family history. We had a Consultation with a doctor last year after we moved here. As soon as Alexis turned around he denied us! We had got a phone call saying he was accepting patients and they set up this appointment, then seen her and said he wasn't accepting patients. Meanwhile my ex was in the next room and was accepted.
This is why the doctor looked at my daughter and refused us....
Her exzema was the worst any doctor we went to had ever seen. That is how 90% of her body looked.. except her diaper area. No exzema there.
I am so thankful that after 13 months we finally found a doctor to help us with her skin. That is such a long time that she had to suffer. It still makes me cry looking at her pictures from her first year of life. I can't even count the number of doctors that couldn't figure out what to do.
This was 2 days after she started medications
Huge improvement!! We couldn't believe, it was a miracle!

I find it insane that a doctor would refuse anyone! And, WOW, what a difference that medication made after only two days! So glad she got the help she needed.
