1. Work. is. kicking. my. ass. Not in a particularly bad way. I've just started getting into a groove, and I've been working more than playing. dunno how that happened.
RTF is a bucket of shit. I spend a good portion of my time trying to figure out how Word interprets this crap. The rest I spend figuring out how to emulate it with my company's software. Like, um, in the middle of a friggin' table, you can mark a row as a header row. It'll be saved like that, even though it's not treated like one (ie, repeated at the top of every page). WTF?
But. The import is steadily improving. So. I'm feeling pretty good.
2. Kitten Kitten has been gone for a week now. It's still possible she'll be back, but I'm not holding my breath.

When I rendered the GIF, I set the color palette to use the 256 colors of the grey (indexed) to further ensure that it was nice and static-y.
One second of this goodness ended up being huge. Like 2MB. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get the file size down to less than 500KB.
I guess that (pseudo)random really doesn't compress that well. Sorry... but I tried. And not because I dislike your current icon, but because I thought I could make one that was sharper and more static-y.
Let me know if you want me to try something else.
