My diodes are up at the cycle shop. They're open tomorrow. I may get to ride this weekend! I say *may* because the rectifier may still be bad, which would blow totally.
Oh, and magnolias are blooming! Mine isn't, but the buds are ripe to bursting. It's still a baby, shorter than me, and I've only had it like a year. I'm so excited.
Y'all have a good holiday. I should be around for most of the weekend (not that that's a good thing, really).

Well, it apparently wasn't the diodes. I got them and they tested identically to the old set, neither one checking against the manual. But you can't get a refund on electrical parts, since ya could've smoked them.
So, I spent an additional $120 on a rectifier/regulator assembly. Whatever, the bike is on the road again.
