feh. I don't think the new bike's gonna work out.
- The temperature light came on just in the time it took me to drive it from the shop to work (<10mi)
- If I let the clutch out in neutral, it becomes a sonofabitch to get it back into gear.
- The throttle doesn't return to its rest fast enough, so when you push the clutch in, you get this extra rev before it settles.
- The posture makes me feel like I'm doing a push-up. Now hold it for an hour.
- It operates at too high a rev for me. I'm used to a boulevard cruiser. Yes I knew it was a sport cruiser, but hey, I had never ridden a sport cruiser
- The foot pegs are way too wide, so walking the bike is a pain.
- The steering is not the lazy shit I'm used to, so I wobble a lot (I'd get used to that).
This, my friends is the result of not being able to test drive the mo-chine before buying it.
They close at 6. I called at 6:02, and they didn't answer the phone. Tomorrow, we'll see how hard it's gonna be to get some kinda satisfaction. Wish me luck.
