Well, that first turkey didn't turn out half bad. I think the thermometer was way off on my smoker, though. It was supposed to take 6 hours to cook, but it was done in 2 1/2. 
The skin was pretty black, but the turkey was as juicy as any I've ever had. So, in addition to smoking some for my sister, I'm gonna take one to the SGATLiens TG shindig. I bought an oven thermometer, too, so's I can make sure the thing ain't cooking at 500 degrees or something.
Work's just been fucking grueling.
