Today was actually quite fun, despite the heat & my hate for it. I relaxed in the garden, reading The Accidental Billionaires, the book based on the founding of Facebook. I enjoyed the film The Social Network so much the book of course deserved a read & well worth it too. So back to the heat & the weather, on days like these I would no doubt spend the day in my dark room, lying around, being unsociable, avoided the daylight like I avoid the majority of the human race. But despite my fun day in the sun, I now have itchy, burning red skin in patches where my clothes werent covering me. Oh sunburn, you sneaky bugger. I should have known better than to venture out in the heat without any type of protective SPF on my skin, luckily I had protected my face, but still.
So to conclude I recommend reading The accidental billionaires but I dont recommend ever thinking that a fair English Rose like me wouldnt roast to a flamingo state in the British sun.
