I know I'm a guy and guys aren't supposed to be all gushy and crap (and this might indicate a bizzare lack of emotional priorities for other reasons), but of everyone I was glad to see when I got back home...
...I missed my cat the most.
Her name's Selena and she has the prettiest green eyes, and I love the way that you can tell your cat remembers you because the way she looks in your eyes and purrs when you hold her until your hand tickles. She's just so cute all around! My heart melted into a gooey puddle of "awwwwwww" the minute I walked into the door and she was the first one to greet me.
Sometimes I just can't help it...

Home's a few miles outside Belleville, IL, about 30 miles east of St. Louis. And yeah, it's like the US West's very own Timbuktu. Of course, I was just fine with being like 50 miles from any other civilization until I came here... damn you SG, you're making me want to be a part of the real world again!
