Went to dc for an interview. Spent 8 hours being poked and prodded...
After the ordeal was over I got picked up by a friend of mine, stoned out of his gourd, and proceded to get lost for an hour or so, trying to find the bar.
He's a security guard for the Italian embassy, which Im guessing is a soft target. They didnt train... Read More
A friend of mine from school is in town for the weekend, and its was so cool to see him.

my favorite kind is ichiban sapporo, "japan's #1 selling ramen"
out here there are so many japanese noodle houses that i don't ever have to buy the instant kind, but i survived a whole summer in college on ramen and refried beans.
last week I drove down to Las Vegas to catch a Martin Sexton concert (which I missed, & ended up in a grimy hotel room paying almost 300 dollars for a rather half-hearted hand-job--but that's another story entirely) & on my way out of town I stopped at grocery store that seemed to cater almost entirely to a Hispanic & Asian clientelle, with the end-result that I came home with a lot of Goya products, & several Ramen bowls.
upon inspection, once home, the bowls turned out to be Kim Chi flavored. I haven't tried them yet. I'm kind of scared to.
I LIKE Kim Chi--but the idea of spicy cabbage flavored noodles make me a bit--nervous.
but they were cheap! (50 cents a bowl!)

ah, I remember playing that game w/ my car, turned out to be the thermostat and that the hose that connects the radiator with the overflow tank had fallen out. I discovered it while driving in San Francisco with my friends, fortunately one of them fixed it with duct tape and a Bic pen.
