Hello people of SG, how are you today?!
I think today I will answer some FAQ's about myself that I get asked on SG and in real life pretty frequently. This seems a little self indulgent to me, but then again so is blogging, isn't it?
So here goes
1. Q
"Where are your tattoos?"
A
"in your butt."
that's probably what I would say in real life, followed by my real answer.....
I don't have any tattoos because I simply haven't decided on something I'd like to put on my body for the rest of my life. I am after all a fashion graduate and my tastes change a little bit every season and every year. So, it's very hard for me to find a design that I would love forever. It would have to be a meaningful image instead of just a design I like. I was considering a tattoo of a canary though. This is because I've always had them as pets since birth and they remind me of my mother. I also like their symbolism of how they are the first warning to save lives in mines. Would that be lame?
2 Q
"What is your ethnicity?'
A
I'm half chinese and half german.
Somehow only asians can figure this one out. I've gotten swedish, native, and "eskimoen" (which i'm pretty sure is not a real word) before.
My mom was born in germany in WWII in 1940 and my grandmother on my father's side came from hong kong in an arranged marriage and worked in a clothing factory here.
So I have a very interesting history on both sides.
3 Q
"Is that your real hair color"
A
No, it's dark brown, almost black.
That's right, I am not a real blond haha. Before this I used to have neon pink hair which I really miss but I wouldn't have a decent job if I still did. I miss how it would blow little kids' minds. They would be like 'MOOOOOMMMMMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOOK AT THAT GIRLS HAIR!!!!!!!!! IT'S PINK!!!!!! LOOOOOOOOOOOOK!!!!!!!!!!" *franticly pointing*
I get my hair cheaply done every 2 months by these awesome japanese people on beatty st. They give me tea and doritos while I'm waiting for the bleach to set and I get to read awesome japanese fashion magazines.
Ok well I will stop there so this doesn't get too lengthy. ( I have to confess I stop reading blogs if they are too long at about this point. I blame my ADD on years of reefer )
Oh right and please have a looksie at my new set in member review
Boiler Room
Take care!

you're really one of the sweetest souls around here. thank you so much for leaving me with such amazing thoughts. i'm so glad that you got through your depression and that you got the help you needed i suppose that's one of the things i wish could happen but now i know i'm dealing with something that'll never "get better" it makes it so overwhelming, but at the same time it makes me realise i just have to change the way i think about things. stay beautiful, sweetness. hopefully i can see you soooon! xxxx.

dude, the raspberry porter is less than $5 at BCL! probably $6 at a cold beer and wine though. it's by tree brewing, in kelowna. yummm
