Yesterday was a good day. It's nice to be back in Portland for a while. Dunx hurt his shoulder while he was kicking that guy's ass the night before. We wanted to go find him and kick his ass again for hurting dunx's shoulder, and for my computer not getting wireless, and for forgetting to buy soap when we went to the store that morning, and for the store not having the right kind of dog food, and for splitting dunx's forehead with his stupid nose. That guy was funny, though. He went from "I'm going to kick your ass you motherfucker!" to "let's stand up and talk about this like men..." in about 20 seconds. I hope he didn't ruin dunx's nice shirt with his nasty dirty blood. All I know is that you do not threaten dunx's girlfriend with violence, ESPECIALLY when he's standing right there.
But anyway, yesterday was a good day. I got up late, walked to the store with dunx, drank some tequila and read while dunx did his laundry. We did some math and ate some pain killers before going to the coffee shop down the street so we could checka the email (my wireless wasn't working at his place). Katie had called earlier from her work to see if we wanted to go to Portland City Grill. Duh. At the coffee shop, though, we thought maybe it wouldn't be such a good idea for either of us to drive. But Katie would have been pissed. It was a team effort, executed with great care and caution, and dunx didn't even run any red lights (haha). Katie had gotten the only window seat in the smoking section because she's fucking awesome. It was almost a waste to go there because neither dunx nor I were drinking and then ended up being not particularly hungry, but we rose above it. Those crab wanton things are awesome, I'd almost forgotten. I love happy hour there. So then we made Katie drive and we rented Bad Santa because I'd never seen it and they thought I'd love it. And I did love it, of course. It was also one of the weirdest movies I'd ever seen. We went on a walk with the beagle, and we read (I picked up a Terry Pratchett I hadn't read two days ago), and then dunx took me back over to Megan's place where I assume I'll be staying quite often until I find a job and a place of my own here. I did some math, read, wrote some email, screwed around on SG, and went to sleep. A day of relaxation all around.
I hope today is equally nice. Looks like it might be time to make some phonecalls pretty soon.

Rent "Ichi the Killer." Drink heavily. View. Be entertained, one way or the other.
