Not a total bust, and I still have to go to my dad's.

My brother and his rad girlfriend and I went to our friend Adrian's house this evening and I drank a bunch of everclear with Quentin, and he said something like, "herpes simplex II? isn't that what old people get? They get old and fat and can't eat sugar anymore and then get herpes?" He's a comic genius, to be sure. I love the guy.

I do miss my old friends. My longtime relationship alienated many of them and now I'm just a lonely young biddy. My brother assured me that I was a biddy, even though I'm not old. I think that's good. I can't wait to be a crazy old cat lady.

I also miss my new friends. I suppose they aren't so new, but they're not my old friends. I miss them terribly.

*sigh*

I got new slippers.
