Hey guys, check me out! Tune in to CBS this Wednesday the 18th at 10pm Eastern and Pacific and 9pm Mountain and Central to see yours truly and seven other SGs (Missy, Amina, Fractal, Nixon, Razzi, Sawa and Zoli) plus special guest Omen star in CSI:NY. It should be awesome, you won't want to miss it. Also, in case you didn't see it, there's an interview on here with Anthony Zuiker, creator of CSI, that went up a little bit ago. He loves SG. I mean just loves it, and he loves us SGs, too. He's a genuine sweetheart; there's not a sleazy bone in his body. I'm so stoked for the episode this week! Go tell Zuiker that he needs to have us all back for an encore. TV needs more hot ladies who aren't stereotypical "hot ladies" with long, brown hair and blonde salon highlights, high heel shoes, french manicured acrylic nails, and two earrings in each ear with nothing inbetween them. TV needs women who have tattoos and rainbow colored hair and leather pants who don't act like attention-starved sluts or drug addicted, vapid freaks. TV needs to stop perpetuating stereotypes and start portraying women as they really are: human beings. Just because you dress one way or hang out at a particular place or listen to a certain type of music doesn't mean you're a certain kind of person. Doing certain things doesn't mean you have to be a certain way. TV needs to stop making the girl with the black hair and black trench coat and doc martins the mysterious, suicidal druggie, and stop making the girl with the mohawk and the plaid skirt and ripped fishnets the mean, angry, crazy drunk, and stop making the girl with the low-rise jeans, one-sleeved shirt, blonde hair and tramp stamp the sultry, shameless slut, and start doing all of us a favor by writing female characters who not only have multi-dimensional personalities, but also have their own style and unique sex appeal. I know, I know, it's television, I'm looking in the wrong place if I'm tired of stereotypes, but a girl can dream, right?
Maybe.
A girl can certainly dream about owning these shoes, I'm sure. Oh yes, yes she can. Someday... someday...
Well, that's about all I have for right now. I have to make some phonecalls on Monday. Maybe the temp agency will have work for me again. I hope so! I like not having to work, but the "not having money" thing makes me nervous. Oh well. Off to watch The Real McCoy!
