I signed a 9 month lease back in August . Those nine months will be up on June 1st, at which time I may or my not have a place to sleep. It breaks down like this: My sister has a two room apartment with one room currently vacant. She wants to move into my apartment because she hasn't found anyone to rent the spare room. So if she can't another occupant, she'll take this place. I was going to move in with my friend, but his lease runs out June 12th and he's moving in with his girlfriend. He offered to let me sleep on their couch, but I felt that would impose on his social agenda, if you know what I mean. (I mean sex). I've contacted various other friends and acquaintances, with varying degrees of success; some dismiss the idea, citing space constraints or other considerations, while others are mildly receptive. I may start browsing craigslist to see if I can find a place to rest my head. If anyone out there reading my post and living in Austin knows of an extra couch where I can sleep for a months, I would appreciate it very much.
