Thank you @rambo and @missy for such a fun blog homework!
I think I have enough embarrassing memories to write for years, as I was such a clumsy kid.
A favourite memory and one of my families favourite jokes is that up until I was about 10 years old, I used to:
- 1. Get toilet paper
- 2. Wet the toilet paper and scrunch it up
- 3. Leave this toilet paper in the sun to dry
- 4. Name this toilet paper ‘pet’ and make it a suitable bed in a shoe box, with a tissue as a blanket.
- 5. Sleep with said pets next to bed
I wish I could say no, but I was a very imaginative kid, and everyone could use a few extra friends!
My favourite of my toilet paper army was one in particular, Jessica. Jessica was the biggest of my toilet paper friends, and thus, more special - Until one unfortunate night my brother snuck into my room at night chanting “OPERATION KILL JESSICA” and snatched her from her peaceful abode, wet her under the sink, and threw her onto the ceiling. I remember crying myself to sleep that night, and crying even more the next day when my dad had to scrape her remains off of the ceiling.
Rest In Piece Jessica,
gone but never forgotten.
A few more silly/ embarrassing memories for you guys include:
Crying for weeks on end when I accidentally sat on my tadpole and killed it. How did I manage to sit on a tadpole you ask? Of course I thought it would be safe to sneak it into my back pocket to take it into my house to show it around, until shortly after I got side tracked and sat down..
Getting kicked out of kindergarten for biting a girls leg after she took my favourite pencil.
Believing my brother for 3+ years that there was a pikachu that had turned evil living in the attic, and being absolutely terrified to go anywhere near it.
Telling everyone in my primary school class that I could talk to AND fly cows. Hard to believe, right?
My mum got a call when I was in pre school that I was running around at lunch and putting lipstick on all the boys and girls. Yep, this was my mums favourite Dior red lipstick, all over 5 year olds. Funny thing is that I ended up being a makeup artist!
I hope you enjoyed some of my silly stories, unfortunately a few of them are too rude to write about!
I’d love to hear about your embarrassing stories too!
Much love,
