Blog time!
This is an interesting one and theres a few different quotes in other languages that stand out to me!
One of them being that in French, "I miss you" translates to "tu me manques", which is closer to "you are missing from me" I think this is a super sweet example of actually missing someone when they mean a lot to you. When they become as essential to you as an organ or a limb.
Another one I've heard a few times is:
"Chacun voit midi a sa porte" which is French and translates to "Everybody sees noon at his doorstep"
I think this is a really beautiful way of saying "each to their own" - It means, that every individual first and foremost is occupied with their own interests and wellbeing. Each feels their subjective opinions as objective truths. It's useless to argue, since every man thinks he is right.
