Hey lovely people!
It's been a little while since I've done a blog homework as I'm still saving up to get my laptop fixed (Yes it's been like 6+ months but I've been managing just fine with my iPhone until my storage gets too full and it starts playing up, making it impossible to write a blog post without it crashing every 5 minutes! - Maybe that should be included in this post - It would probably save my life if you could change the storage of your iPhone without the means of uploading things to iCloud and deleting them - I can never have all my apps that I want on my phone because they take up too much space and I love keeping special photos on there to flick past every now and then when I'm feeling down.)
But alas, lets begin!
I found this blog homework extremely fun as it started to get me thinking outside the box a little and funnily enough I couldn't pick only one thing!
The first item i'm going to talk about is.... Teleportation!
As long as we don't end up like Jeff Goldblum in the movie 'The Fly', This would save so much hassle but seems merely impossible. Mind you, apparently scientists managed to teleport an atom up to three metres with 100% accuracy back in 2014. In practice it seems highly unlikely however. As somebody that has a lot of family all over the world, something like this would put me at ease SO much, as you could literally just teleport for a day and come back! Not to mention, lazy people like myself would also use it for just teleporting food to yourself.
The other items that I wish existed are:
A DEVICE TO CONTROL TIME! (STOP/START/PAUSE/REWIND)
Who here has watched the movie Click before? Although i'm not a huge Adam Sandler fan I found this movie so clever and it made me realise how much fun it would be to own a device like this. I've suffered from anxiety for as long as I can remember now and I feel like this would help ease the panic attacks if I knew I could pause time or rewind and start again! Saying that, I'm imagining there would be an unimaginative amount of pros and cons to this item existing.
A DEVICE TO SEND A CERTAIN SMELL
(YEP. STOP THINKING GROSS THOUGHTS.)
When I was younger I used to always wish there was an app on your iPhone in which you could send someone a smell. Numerous times I would spray a perfume and think of somebody or want a second opinion from a friend! This however also got me thinking to the fact that we link smells with a lot of different memories, for example, the smell of wood fired pizza always makes me think of my childhood and comforts me - so there could be an app where your friends list the smells they super like or that remind them of happy times and you can send it along with a text! Unfortunately I know if something like this was ever created people would probably send horrible smells to people they dislike :P
Thank you guys so much for reading my blog homework and I hope you enjoyed it and let me know what you think!
Before I go here are a couple more ideas that I found online:
A coffee machine that scans your hand print to make you your favourite coffee! I know that no matter where I go I always get a soy cap!
See through items! Such as a hole punch (So you can see where you're punching) and toaster so you can see how cooked your toast is! I think the toaster has already been made now but this was something I always wish existed when I was younger so I wouldn't have to keep popping my toast up to check it!
A highlighter that only lasts for 6 months before it fades completely! This would have helped me so much back when I was studying and wanted to re-sell text books!
I hope you all have a lovely day!
Thank you @rambo and @missy
