HUMPDAY
well let me tell you the tail of my totally broken ass foot LOL
i went to PA this weekend for the very first time since i broke my foot
and here are the infamous step that i slipped off and broke both the bones in my leg in 4 places
nope not very big steps i know
its amazing that i did fuck up my foot as badly from the fall
although i was about 4 feet in the air horizontally
seriously was
this is how i looked after 3 weeks past surgery
in order to fix me they had to put in a metal plate with 10 screws and two pins
i am happy medical proceedures have evolved as much as they have
and this is how my foot looks today
almost 4 months after my accident
i now have what i lovingly refer to as a KANKLE
lemme show you
it will never be as small as my right ankle is due to the metal they put in there
metal doesnt move or shrink
i have been doing physical therapy for about 1 month now
and i will gladly settle for 90% of my mobility back
it has been a hard and humbling trip
it did make me re evaluate alot of things in life
and above all to never ever take my body for granted
i can honestly say it hasnt made me have any mental blocks
i am good at pushing through pain and immobility when i need to
Rob however has gotten scared from this whole ordeal
i noticed that when we where in PA this weekend
went for a walk in the woods and as soon as the terrain got a lil rough
Rob wanted to go back even though i keept assuring him that i was ok and it was good training for me
he keept saying: No all that it needs is for a rock to move and it will snap all over again
Let me explain when it all happened back in february Rob pretty much had a close up view
he was 2 feet behind me and saw my left foot bend the totally opposite way of its natural structure
and yupp he almost fainted his mother told me a month later
i never thought of it until this weekend
so i guess all that adds up to is one more person to have to prove im ok and i can do everything and anything
Shame on being a quitter
it isnt me
life is about things happening and you beating the bad things that crash into ur life
life is about being happy for what uve got and what you can do
so all my dear loved friends
dont ever take anything for granted
do the things you want to do when you want to
appreciate life ,your body , your mind and your ability to live life to the fullest
love ya all
sorry about the gory pictures but i had to get it out of my system
oh and ive gotta end this with a cute pic of my cheese and my lil cheesepuff
(translation Rob and Alley)
Have a awesome wednesday
and smile
the week is halfway there

That's horrible about your ankle, but I'm glad you're not a quitter. You're obviously a very tough person, and that's good.
