Good news/bad news:
School is great; expensive, but I like my classmates and the chefs very much... I got to eat Bananas Foster made with Bacardi 151 today. Mmmmmm...
Not only do they trust us with knives (I got a whole set for the courses), but flames!
Ok, on to the bad news:
One of my old nin.com buddies lives near NOLA and hasn't been heard from since Sunday. I'm starting to get worried... he's usually online at least once a day, and the others who live there have all checked in or posted since the disaster hit.
Everyone else I know there has at least sent out an email saying that they're okay.
I hate being this worried...
