I wanted to write a journal entry yesterday, but it just didn't work out. I'm okay with that though because it turned out that i had a pretty great day. The weather was really strange.....i guess it even hailed at one point though i was inside busy working that whole time.
I got two extra hours of work in produce, which i love.
After work i hung out with and played so much Tetris with Shane....the Playstation version "Tetris Plus" that has rediculous grunting sounds in it. Why do they put grunting sounds in it?
After that my friends Laura and Matt stopped by to take me out for my birthday (I didn't really want to go on the 28th because not that many people actually wanted to go with me). The whole going out thing last night was really last minute, but they told me they are moving to Maine in about three or four weeks, and they offered to buy drinks for me because i am so broke. I am going to miss them even though we never hung out that much.
Greg showed up at McMenamins after a wile and had a drink as well. After we had all drained our glasses we parted ways, Matt going home with Laura, and me wandering with Greg. Greg and I wandered about somewhat aimlessley, ending up on campus. We checked to see if any of the art buildings were unlocked so i could sneak a peek at peoples art, but everything was locked up well. Also we looked around Weatherford Hall which was bizarre.....it used to have this little tiny courtyard that was overgrown and mysterious.......but of course they removed it in the renovation. Its weird, the little mysterious courtyard was still sort of incised on my mental map of Corvallis, so even though i should have known it wouldn't be there anymore it felt distincly weird that it was just gone. Now there is just a big open lawn instead. OSU has way too many fucking lawns, they need more secret gardens. Oh well.
We got home and i was so tired that i fell asleep while playing Tetris. Then i managed to make my way upstairs somehow.
Maybe it doesn't sound like last night was that interesting, but i had good conversations with everyone i hung out with. If you asked me to repeat those to you, i couldn't, because i am horrible at that type of thing.
A question for the SG girls who read my journal: Has being on this site affected your life much? (for example...people recognising you in person and coming up to you) Just curious......
Ok i think i will leave it at that this morning. I have to go to work soon.
Love,
-Leslie

Yeah, I'm sure that having the teeth removed is all for the better in the long run. And it's something that I've needed to have done for some time (thank you, dental insurance!). Not sure if I liked your use of the word "week" though. But hey, I get drugs!
job prospects are up, up, and up.. i can't complain. i've had four interviews this week and it looks like i'll be actually able to pick and choose (for a real change).
oh shit, and happy belated birthday!!
