Uhhhh....today. I don't know. Work work work....i only told a few customers what was actually on my mind....the rest don't know me well enough to deserve to know....i was in a bit of a bad mood.

Funny fact about my workplace. The HR person just beefed up the harrasment policy. Part of the harassment policy prohibits "having a negative attitude" and it also prohibits "lying". So it was a catch 22....either way i was breaking the "rules" today. Policies can be useful but i feel they have been abused lately to the point of stupidity at my workplace. The HR person can pass policy without another manager's signature now. Does this seem like a conflict of interest to anyone else?

So, i will be gone to Southern California for about 4 days for my grandpa's funeral. I don't want to think about it too much. Tonight i will be staying at my parents house to do laundry and get ready to leave early tomorrow morning. We will be leaving at 7AM apparently. the drive to Ontario California is approximately 16 hours, i think. I hate being stuck in a car that long. I am bringing knitting, If Chins Could Kill, and Catch 22. Unfortunately i don't have a walkman anymore, and my parents have obnoxious taste in music (or maybe i am just still sick of their stuff). I will attept to bring stuff they can tolerate that maybe they will play instead of some of their horribleness. i think they might like Van Morrison, Leon Redbone, Tom Waits, Hope Sandoval, and Dead Can Dance. I am worried about how crazy i am going to feel being stuck in a van with them for that long.

Blah. I forsee crying in the near future. Ugh.
