Okay, paycheck in in the bank, and i have now more than a few cents to my name. Phew. Still might be slightly short on rent, or i could turn the whole thing in two days late, which i have made a bad habit of doing anyway.......so i think i am ok. I still can't afford much in the way of Xmas prresents. I am going to go to Joanns Fabric Store shortly here to stock up on thread and to see if they have any cheap materials and yarns i can use for making presents. I also might buy a grommiter so i can make lace up chokers and arm cuffs. Thats kind of a big chunk though, i think for the starter kits they have there it is like a minimum of $16. That seems like a lot right now.
Tonight i might go over to my friends house to get her help on writing my resume, since i am so awful bad at it. And even if nothing elsemade me want to quit work (like if the problems i had with it weren't even existent) Thanksgiving week still would. It is company policy that when we page for one of the employees to bring a turkey order to the register, we have to make a gobbling sound. Right. It makes you feel so stupid. I have decided i am just going to do the swedish chef turkey call instead, and see if anyone tells me to stop. If i sound like a complete idiot i might as well have a little bit more fun. "Gobblen gobblen hurdey gurdey turken lurken at register one plese!" It is also funny, the two secretaries who are primarily responsible for the turkies at both stores also both happen to be strictly vegan. sort of sad huh? One of them has been muttering under her breath about the corpses being driven up in the freezer truck. I am not that disturbed by thanksgiving but i am still sad we have to make the vegan girls do that.
Well, craft day is today, i might work on some stuff i will be able to sell at the co-op. Like small scarves or something. Maybe even kids scarves since it takes so little yarn, who knows. I wish there were more people i know from Corvallis on this site. Most of them are male college students that i don't know. But i want more people to know about the craft day too......i am just kinda broke and not all that hot on paying for a bunch of flyers.
Not much else to report today. I mean i feel slightly better but i still feel sort of in a funk. Maybe the holiday season is just exacerbating things.
Anyone want to be penpals? I miss getting letters and stuff in the mail. I love writing letters!
What do you want for Christmas really badly? And if you don't celebrate Christmas or Hannuka or Yule, then how about, what do you want for Agnosticconsumeristmas?
