Yarrr. How goes it ya scurvy sea-dogs?!?!
I am feeling somewhat better than the last time i posted. That was the period from hell, sorry any males that have to read this because i know how disconcerting the blood-stuff can be to some of you. It was the worst period i have had in FOUR YEARS at least. And all i did was accidentally skip 2 pills. That is SO scary. Can you imagine how fucked up my hormones would be if for some godawful reason i decided to drop birth control all together? Well, i mean, i would get used to it eventually, but it would still be harsh. Blech. I only vaguely remember when my period was like 8 days long and 5 days at least of ibuprofin popping hell, but i guess i would go back to that if i wasn't dosed on fake horemones. I like my new short and relatively easy period and i want it for the long haul until menopause, thank yew.
Anyway, let put that horrible thought out of our minds for now (shudders). Today seems pretty great already. It is fabulously grey out and even though i woke up accidentally early i feel healthier than yesterday (um, both emotionally and physically). It is raining outside, but really it is raining and hailing at the same time. Corvallis is weird like that, hell, whole parts of the west coast have this. Like there are wet hailstones between the pouring raindrops. Oh well in 15 minutes it will be doing something else entirely. I love inclement weather, it is such a reminded of nature even within the city, hidden in your house.
A couple of days ago, even though i was sicky mc blicky, i went over to an aquaintances (dare i say new friend's) house for a game night......it was really really really fun. It was nice because some "gamer" circles are way too serious about games. All the people who were over for this night were obviously just there to have fun as opposed to just being in arrogant geek whoop-ass mode, which i aprreciated. It is nice to be social too with a group of people including some i didn't know very well and some i have never met before. Sounds silly? I am a reclusive individual other than work, so i guess it just seems like somewhat of a breakthrough. We played all sorts of fun games too. Apples to Apples, Carcasonne, Robo Rally, and another few i don't remember. Gr3g and i stayed over ther until 2:30 or three and then i lost the little energy i had left and we wnet home. So sad. I am desperatelyhoping it happens on a regualer basis. I need fun, i just forget that i do!
Well thats about all i can think to expunge about now....not a whole lot going on. Oh, tomorrow i am going with a bunch of girls up in a cra to Portland to go thrift store shopping. Oh glorious day! And i will look for things to enhance my halloween costume while i am up there. I am going to be the Evil Toothfairy, and i think the evil toothfairy should be wearing some sort of black ripped-up prom dress or something, something which i do not yet own!
Ok, take care everyone!
