The CD player on my stereo has been prgressively dying over a period of a half a year or so. It started off with just rejecting older discs, moved on to only recognizing the newest discs, and now the motor isn't turning fast enough for it ot play any of my CDs. It has been several weeks now since i have listened to any of my CDs. I am starting to go insane. I have a few tapes and records but nowhere near the selection. And of course no that i don't have access to any of it i am getting the most obscure of hankerings, like Happy Rhodes and the Swords Project, stuff i just havent found online. GRRRR. I think there might be a way to rig gr3gs portable CD player up through the back of the stereo, but he hasn't got around to it yet. I....will....try....not....to.....flip....out.
Out of morbidly self torturous curiousity, what have you all been listening to today?

Gosh...what didn't I buy!!! I got a really cool bag, from a designer I've wanted to buy from forever. I bought a whole crap load of LUSH soaps from the new store. I had to get my Moonstruck chocolate fix and I was so ecstatic the Halloween set was out. More soap from a vendor at the Saturday Market. I unfortunately only got to one yarn store, but I got the coolest looking bright orange yarn with streaks of recycled silk through it. I couldn't find the other stores.
Oh...and some embroidery patterns, a vegan cuff bracelet, and two weird fish windsocks for my parents. Oh...and lip balm. Oh...and smelly stuff from Escentials.
They have so many cool shops, they're all small and sell local stuff, I was in absolute heaven!!!
I'm going to post the pictures soon. We shot well over 200, since we were rockin the digital camera. I need to sort and make sure I don't look gross!
Mt St Helen's is really cool. You can take all these crazy trails very close to the peak. It was the most open place I've ever seen, your literally surrounded by a steep drop and air, and a perfect view of the mountain. And there's elk there, just walking around. It was very cool, I highly recommend it, unless your afraid of heights, then it may not be so cool!
