What a week it's been since my last update.
The good:
The eldest boy has been doing better. He's showing some real improvements towards his brother. The biting seems to have stopped - touch wood. Screw that, ima do a full naked body rub against a big ol' tree somewhere
Work is busy. I've had too much work as usual, but it helps me stay focussed and not think about the bad stuff, like money. Actually, all of our bad revolves around money. I'd like to punch the fucker who coined the phrase, "Money can't buy you happiness" right in the face. That shitter had money for sure, and was just being an ass to make himself feel better.
Finishing off the cattle stud website today. One less thing to eat time out of my day. I'll need to fill that space though to keep the bill paying machine rolling. For now I'll be happy to have a little more time in the day to work on other client projects.
The bad: We still have to get the youngest boys teeth done. It's all very much a juggle making all the ends meet. Christmas is coming up way too fast as well. I expect it's only going to get harder for the time being. We're doing okay compared to a lot of folk out there. We just have to keep things in perspective.
The car battery finally gave up and died. I'm not sure how old it was. At least 5 years. That's a pretty good run considering most of the stuff we do is small runs back and forth to the school or grocery store. Still, $150 for a battery seems a lot more than I had to spend last time :/ Peace of mind, I guess, that my family won't get stranded again.
I really feel like I have a billion things to say today as well. It's a fine line between documenting "the now" and ending up with a long load of drivel. tl;dr
I best get back to the grind stone.
