Just some ranting I did on MySpace.
Thought I'd share here too.
What do you think constitutes a big lie or a little lie? And is it OK? Is lying by omission worse that flat out lying to someone's face?
Bottom line- the common thread is that they are all dishonest.
I am just going through a few things and really looking at what I like in people.
Conversely I am thinking about what I dislike MOST in people. And what I hate most are liars.
I hate people who lie. Whether it be to my face or on a profile in cyberspace.
I hate when people portray themselves to be something that they are not. If you are not ready for a grown up situation- say so. If you drink- say so. If you smoke- say so. Right up front. Don't sneak around and get caught and then have to do a take back. I mean, why can't people just tell the frickin TRUTH??!!
When you know someone has been untruthful, it eats away at and you and makes everything strained. And that sucks.
But alas, I cannot control people. I just wish that people realize that when you lie from the beginning of a friendship or relationship, that it is pretty much doomed from the beginning. Anything based around webs of deceit or the covering up (or minimizing) of the truth, is not going to be healthy or lasting.
Rant done for now. If you find your feelings hurt by this, I am not sorry because this is who I am. Can't deal with it?? Then we shouldn't be communicating.

I am not sad, I am angry.
