I must be the world's biggest sap. I caught up on the last 2 weeks of Grey's Anatomy and balled. Now I am watching American Idol and this girl is crying and saying how much she just wants her dad to be proud of her. It brought a mother fucking tear to my eye.
I know the feeling though of wanting the Parental Units to be proud of you. I think they are.
And now the tears have left the building and made way for laughter. I love Simon Cowell and the queens who are just all that. And to quote Ryan Cheesecrest "These are the days of our Idols."

I didn't make it to the SGIE sushi outing tonight. I got home late and crashed on the couch. I couldn't move. Hope you all had fun. Hopefully I will catch y'all next month. d_day said I could post an event. I don't think that sittin in my living room watchin TV counts as an event. So, the next thing I see myself wanting to invite anyone out to may be a poetry reading. I need to read. I haven't read in a long time, but need to get my writing gears going again. Who would go?? Let me know.
