Yep... still alive... although after the last two weeks, there were times that maybe I didn't want to be...
August 19 - go in for spinal tap - which hurts like hell!
August 20,21 - sore, headachey - like usual but longer lasting - all day headaches, not multiple headaches over the day...
August 22 - jenn calls neuro - hey doc arthur is doing pretty bad, doc says "DRUGS!" yummy, except they don't help...
August 23 - I decide I can take any amount of pain (look at my ankle when we meet) and stupidly go into work... less than 1 hour later... I am in the ER...
MY SPINE IS LEAKING SPINAL FLUID!!! and we can't fix it - because you took drugs that interfere - come back tomorrow! EEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKK
August 24 - I get my blood ball - my golf ball sized blod clot in my back to allow my spinal cord to close the hole and give me fluid... dr says - 5 days? you were walking around for 5 days with this?!? ugh
Next 7 days are a blur - I learn to walk upright again - and can almost move like normal - headaches are intermittent, though all day long...
Today - first day in over 45 days that I didn't have a headache in 4 hours... wow. Can't imagine life without headaches.
September 1 - might have results... promise to keep you posted.
September 4 - BBQ at A&J in CT!!! Anyone who wants to go - just email me for directions!

Awww hon, that is absolutely awful. You have been to hell, then through the wringer in hell, given a taste of purgatory, snatched back to hell, and put through the wringer in hell again. Absolutely sucks, you poor thing. I don't know if feel-better kisses are gonna cut it, but here are some anyway:
