yesterday someone I've known for about ten years died. she had stage4 colon cancer and didn't tell anyone. she was only 37. we weren't real close, and in fact I haven't talked to her in at least a year, but she was a close friend of a close friend, so that made us very friendly acquaintances. when I lived in Houston we'd see her around all the time.

she was a big, curvy woman the whole time I knew her, but her wife posted some pics to her facebook page from December and she was just skeletal, it was pretty heartbreaking. i don't know what this feeling is that I'm having.
