Well, I feel a little better now...I'm enjoying a lovely cognac, it's the last weekend of an extended stay in the US before heading home...before moving all my crap (roll that "r") back to Chicago...again...but this time (maybe) for good.

It was a lovely day
but I'm tired
of my body clock
being all fucked up
all the time.

How's that for
a random entry?

Me?
I'm always happy
buoyant, vibrant, alive
positive, grounded and sure.
Unless I'm not.
Then I fortify myself
with wine.

What can happen in 30 seconds?
Something sudden
something rushed
something premature
something hushed
something tragic
something good
something sexy
involving food
something naughty
something nice
something Asian
with wasabi and rice
something you've never
experienced before
but if you need more details,
give me 30 seconds more.

vutek:

to that old hotel room
with the white sheets
and lazy curtains
and warm summer breeze
an nobody but us for days
when you looked at me
that certain way
while waiting for your coffee
this morning

There is very little
in the world
that can't be solved
with calm
and some red wine.

All problems
can become merely
a laugh
between us
that we can always resolve
